salty peanuts

I was never much interested in peanuts until I traveld to Beijing, where they were offered as an appetizer at those alleyway restaurants. It was so simple yet delicious!


  • 2 cups raw peanuts
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
2 cups


Preheat oven to 225ยบ.

Toss peanuts in canola oil and salt.

Spread peanuts on a baking sheet and roast for 2 hours.

Cool before eating.
