red bean ice cream

You can use smooth or chunky red bean. It's all good!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened red bean paste
  • roasted black sesame seeds
1 1/2 quarts

Directions

Whisk the eggs and sugar until they turn light in color. Then whisk in the cream and milk. Add the red bean paste until combined.

Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to your machine.

Transfer to freezer-safe containers and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Garnish with roasted black sesame seeds.
