mint tea (dried leaves)

It's so easy to dry mint leaves in order to store them and make tea at a later time. Now I know what to do with mint when it starts to go!

Ingredients

  • mint

Directions

Wash mint. Remove leaves from stems. Lay leaves out on a towel to air dry (about 1 hour). Leaves should not overlap.

Preheat oven to 200ยบ.

Transfer leaves to cookie sheets. Once again, take care not to let the leaves overlap.

Turn off the oven. Place cookie sheets inside the oven. The leaves will dry using the residual heat. Leave them in there for at least an hour, preferably 2 or 3 hours.
