Ingredients
- For The Cake:
- 3 cups flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups Dixie Crystals Granulated Sugar
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoons ginger
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup canola oil
- ½ cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups canned pumpkin puree
- For The Chocolate Frosting Layers:
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- For The Ganache:
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 7 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1½ teaspoons corn syrup
- For The Chocolate Curls:
- One small block of semi-sweet chocolate, approximately 4 ounces
- One wooden skewer
