Tostones

Tostones by Sarah Xiong

There's a lot of names for this dish depending on your culture. Today they are called tostones.

Ingredients

  • 1 plantain
  • 1/4 cup oil
2 servings

Directions

Slice banana into 1.5" pieces. Fry for 2 minutes each side over medium high heat. Take out and smash. Fry again on each side for about a minute.
