Eat with steamed rice and fried egg, unseasoned.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, minced by hand
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 large shallot
- 2 thai red chilis
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp sweet black soy sauce
- 1 large bunch thai basil, leaves only
Directions
Pound garlic, shallots and chilis into a paste.
Add oil and paste into a hot wok. Fry for a few minutes. Add chicken. Fry til fully cooked. Add fish sauce, black soy sauce and 1/4 cup water. Let simmer for a few minutes. Turn off heat and toss in basil.
