Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce by Sarah Xiong

This cranberry sauce recipe is all about texture. It's not gelatinous, not too liquidy, not too sweet. It's tart, well-rounded with a nice chew.


  • 1 pkg fresh cranberries
  • 5.5 pkg dried cranberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 6 oz sugar
  • 1 oz light brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt


Microwave the OJ for about 4 minutes til reduced.

Add OJ and remaining ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil then simmer til all cranberries have popped and cooked. Stir occasionally.
