roasted barley tea

If you're Korean, you'll know what this is. If you're not, then know that this tea is the tasty stuff served at Korean restaurants. I like it cold. Really cold.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup roasted barley
  • 2 quarts water
2 quarts

Directions

Heat barley and water in a covered pot over medium heat. When it reaches a boil, lower to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes. Keep the cover on.

Remove from heat and strain.

Drink the tea warm, or chill and serve it cold.

10 minutes
