Lemonade. Good stuff. And I recommend that you zest the lemons before juicing them. Reserve the zest or use it right away in a nice lemon compound butter.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 cups water
- 5 lemons

Directions
Create a simple syrup by combining sugar with 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the sugar completely dissolves. Remove from heat and add the rest of the water. Set aside to cool.
Juice the lemons. Combine lemon juice with the syrup. Refrigerate.
Serve over ice.
