lemon ice cream

Refreshing!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 lemons
1 quart

Directions

Whisk the eggs until they turn light in color. Then whisk in the cream, milk, and sugar.

Add the zest of each lemon to the cream. Then juice the lemons and strain. Add the juice to the cream. Mix well.

Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to your machine.

Transfer to freezer-safe containers and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
