lamb meatballs

I combined my standard meatball recipe with Nigella Lawson's Aromatic Meatballs recipe:


  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup semolina flour
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 egg
2 dozen


Preheat oven to 400ยบ.

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Then roll meat into balls and place on a baking sheet. (Size depends on preference. I like them smaller, about 1".)

Bake for 30 minutes. (You can give the pan a shake if you want. I let them just sit there and cook.)

Remove and eat/use immediately.

40 minutes
