
These are a little easier to make (no chocolate to melt) and just as tasty!
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 8 tbsp butter, melted and cooled
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Dutch process or extra brute cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
In a standing mixer fitted with a whisk, combine the eggs, vanilla, sugar, and salt on high for a minute. Drizzle in the melted butter as you continue to beat on high for another minute.
Sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Use a spatula to stir just until combined.
The batter will be thick. Spread it out in a greased 8" square pan.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cool before slicing.
