
I love oats but only appreciate fruit. The ratio of oats to fruit reflect this predilection.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 lemon, zest and juice
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups ripe berries
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 400ยบ.
Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and zest of the lemon. Cut in the butter with a pastry cutter until there's an even crumb.
Toss berries with sugar and the juice of half the lemon. Place in a glass loaf pan and top with the oatmeal mixture.
Bake until nicely browned, about 30 minutes.
