
Ingredients
- 1 lb russet potatoes
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
4 sides
Directions
Bring pot of salted water to boil.
Cut potatoes into 1" chunks. Add to boiling water. Boil until a fork easy enters and releases from the potatoes, about 20 minutes. Drain.
Put potatoes into a large bowl. Add butter, salt, and pepper. Mash using a potato masher or pastry blender.
Serve.
