This recipe is for a basic sandwich. Obviously you can go nuts by adding meat, tomatoes, onions, avocados, etc. And I encourage you to do so.
I left out measurements since the amount of mustard, cheese, and butter depends on your slice of bread. Just believe in yourself, and you'll be okay.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- dijon mustard
- slices of your favorite cheese
- butter
Directions
Heat a pan over medium heat.
Meanwhile, lightly spread mustard to one side of each slice of bread. On one slice, pile on the cheese atop the mustard. Place the other slice of bread on top mustard side down.
Lightly butter the outside of your sandwich.
Place the sandwich on the hot pan. When brown, flip and brown the other side.
(If the cheese has not fully melted but the sandwich is browned to perfection, you can microwave it briefly. About 20 seconds is all you'll need.)
Slice in half and serve immediately.
