banana smoothie

This is refreshing. The banana is not strong, although I found the amount of yogurt in the original recipe to be a little too overpowering and cut it in half. This is definitely the way to start a morning while addressing that overripe banana sitting on your counter.

Ingredients

  • 1 overripe banana
  • 1 cup nonfat milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • nutmeg for garnish
2 servings

Directions

Combine the ingredients in a blender and process on high until smooth (about 1 minute depending on the blender).
