
The idea here is simple: clean your your vegetable compartment. You'll need cabbage to make it a "slaw." Other than that, anything goes!
It's a raw salad, so the flavors are fresh. It's one of my go-to dishes for potlucks.
Ingredients
- toasted almond slivers
- cabbage
- red onion
- fresh veggies: corn, spinach, cucumber
- fresh herbs: cilantro, parsley
- olive oil
- lemon
- kosher salt

Directions
Toast almond slivers and set aside.
Cut the cabbage into thin slices. Mince some red onions and add to the cabbage. Add other fresh veggies and herbs that need to be eaten. Toss with olive oil, the juice of a lemon, and kosher salt.
Top with almonds.
