limeade

Good as-is. Better if spiked. Or use a little seltzer for a special treat.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 8 limes

Directions

Create a simple syrup by combining sugar with 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the sugar completely dissolves. Remove from heat and add the rest of the water. Set aside to cool.

Juice the limes. Combine it with the syrup. Refrigerate.

Serve over ice.
