What could be better than bacon? That's right, candy-coated bacon.
By the way, there's no better way to cook bacon than in the oven. And if you line your baking sheet with foil, clean up's even easier. Just let the fat cool and then throw away the foil.
- 1 lb thick cut bacon
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper*
- *Can't take the heat? That's fine. Just omit the pepper.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Arrange the bacon in a single layer on a baking sheet (or two) and bake for 20 minutes.
Combine the remaining ingredients.
Turn over the bacon and top with the mixture.
Cook an additional 15 minutes or until desired doneness.
Remove from oven and drain on paper towels.
