So this recipe came from a package of butter and is actually Part 1 of a Dulce de Leche Brownie recipe.
The only thing I changed from the original was that I doubled the corn syrup -- only because I was talking to my husband and got distracted. Luckily, it still came out good.
Ingredients
- 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
1-1/4 cups
Directions
In a large, microwaveable bowl (2 to 2-1/2 quarts), combine the milk and syrup.
Microwave on 50% power for 10-12 minutes, stopping every 2 minutes at first to stir. About mid-way, through, you'll need to stir more frequently to avoid a boil over.
Once the mixture become thick and caramel colored, remove from oven and whisk in butter.
15 minutes
