
An easy recipe to throw together and then sit back at it bakes (or get the kids to get that bath-time out of the way.)
Ingredients
- 4 cups spaghetti sauce
- 12 uncooked lasagna noodles*
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- CHEESE MIXTURE:
- 1 tub (15 oz) ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes (double if fresh)
- 1-1/2 teaspoons oregano (double if fresh)
- *noodles will cook as lasagna bakes
Directions
Preheat oven to 375ยบ.
In bowl, add the cheese mixture ingredients and mix.
In an ungreased 13x9x9 inch pan spread 1 cup of sauce.
Top with 4 noodles and then spread half of the cheese mixture.
Follow with a layer of sauce (1 cup) and then a layer or mozzarella cheese (2/3 cup).
Layer 4 more noodles and then spread the rest of the cheese mixture.
Follow with a layer of sauce (1 cup) and then a layer or mozzarella cheese (2/3 cup).
Top with remaining noodles followed by a layer of the remaining sauce.
Lastly, sprinkle the top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
