When the mint's growing like crazy in the backyard...it's time to make tea!
Ingredients
- 6 bags Green Tea
- 1 stalk Fresh Mint
- 1 liter Water Water (or, if using a brewer, whatever the device requires) or Boiling Water if using a teapot
- 2 liters Ice
- I use a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker but this can easily be done without the device.
2 liters
Directions
Pinch off a few nice looking mint leaves and drop in pitcher for decoration. Add ice.*
Roughly chop up the remain mint stalk (stem and leaves) just so it fits in the brew basket (or teapot). Add the teabags.
Follow the direction for your device to brew the tea.
If using a teapot, add the boiling water and allow the leaves to steep.
Once brewed, pour over the ice.
You're now ready to serve.
*You'll want to put the mint below the ice because it will brown if it comes in contact with hot tea.
