Double-Chocolate Cookies

Looking for chocolate cookies that aren't too sweet? Then these are the cookies for you.

Ingredients

  • WET INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • DRY INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • (The original recipe said semisweet but I used white chocolate instead.)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375° and grease cookie sheets.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Mix in remaining wet ingredients.

In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients then gradually beat into the wet mixture.

Stir in chips.

Drop cookies into baking sheet with a teaspoon.

Bake 8-10 minutes.

Allow cookies to remain on sheet for a minute or so before transferring to a rack to finish cooling.
