Looking for chocolate cookies that aren't too sweet? Then these are the cookies for you.
- WET INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- DRY INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- (The original recipe said semisweet but I used white chocolate instead.)
Preheat oven to 375° and grease cookie sheets.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Mix in remaining wet ingredients.
In a separate bowl mix the dry ingredients then gradually beat into the wet mixture.
Stir in chips.
Drop cookies into baking sheet with a teaspoon.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
Allow cookies to remain on sheet for a minute or so before transferring to a rack to finish cooling.
