Call it a dare. Call my sister an enabler. But after my string of soda pop recipes, she forwarded this one for me to tackle. This recipe was simple enough.
The end result had a slightly odd, springy texture with a molasses undertone. My kids, though, loved the end result.
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cups flour
- 1-2/3 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1-12oz can of Coca Cola
12 servings
Directions
Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
Grease a 9x13 in. baking dish.
Whisk all dry ingredients until blended.
Slowly drizzle in the soda and mix until blended.
Pour into the pan and bake for about 35 minutes, or until a wooden pick comes out clean (or as clean as can be expected for a pan of brownies).
Cool and then cut into squares.
