
Fish cutlet is a delicious and crunchy seafood snack. It is an excellent appetizer for parties and picnics, from kids to everyone loves this fish cutlet.
Ingredients
- 1 lb FISH TILAPIA RAW
- 1 no YELLOW POTATO
- 1 tsp GARAM MASALA
- 1 no EGG WHL RAW FRSH
- 1 cup ONION CHOPPED
- 1 cup BREAD CRUMBS
- 2 no GREEN CHILIES
- 1 tsp RED CHILI POWDER
- 1 tbsp CORIANDER POWDER
- 1 tsp SALT TABLE
- 1 cup OIL
Directions
Heat a wide skillet and place the tilapia fillet and cook on both sides until no longer pink inside and flake the cooked tilapia finely using a fork.
Peel and chop the potato roughly. Discard the skin. In a separate sauce pan boil the potato until soft. Immediately remove the potato from water and mash using a potato masher or fork.
In a wide bowl add the flaked tilapia, mashed potato, chopped onion, green chilies, garam masala, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, egg and mix well.
Divide the portions into small balls and make patties out of it (press in between your palms for making patties). Roll the patties in the bread crumbs.
In a hot oil deep fry the patties until the color changes to golden brown. Fish cutlets are ready to serve.
