Caramelised almonds with thermomix

Caramelised almonds with thermomix by Ana Sabor

This is the recipe for the traditional christmas almonds or caramelized almonds using a thermomix robot.

Ingredients

  • 200 grs of almonds without salt, with the skin
  • 10 grs butter
  • 80 grs of brown sugar
  • ΒΌ tsp of cinnamon (powdered)
  • 10 grs water

Directions

1 - Put the almonds, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon in the Thermomix and program 5 minutes at varoma temperature in reverse turn at spoon speed.

2 - Add the water and program 10 minutes at varoma temperature, reverse rotation and speed 1.

3 - Remove immediately to a tray and let cool. After a few days they dry out more and are richer, but they can be eaten at once.
