Stir Fry Brussels Spouts With Bacon by Amah

This dish is healthy and easy to make. Since we usually have bacon at home, you just put it together with some Brussels sprouts and you have a meal.

Note: by cutting Brussels Sprouts in half it cooks faster. Also, you may use the bacon grease instead of olive oil. In fact, it may taste even better. It goes well with rice.


  • 1/2 pound brussel sprouts, sliced in half
  • 3/4 cup of sliced bacon, browned & drained
  • 2 small red hot peppers
  • 4 clovers of garlic, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • Corn starch
  • Pepper
  • Salt
2 Servings


1. Placed sliced bacon in a frying pan
2. Turn on medium heat & cook until light brown 3. Drain the grease and set the bacon aside.
4. In the same skillet,same heat put in red pepper & garlic
5. When the garlic turned light brown, put in Brussels sprouts, stir and cover for 2 mins.
6. Low down heat to simmer
7. Stir in corn starch with little water & mix evenly
8. Add salt and pepper to taste
9. Mix in bacon & stir

20 min.
