Brown Rice With Miso-Glazed Tofu, Red Peppers and Kimchi by Amah

This is healthy and tastes good.


  • 1-cup of cooked brown rice
  • 1-14 ounce block extra firm tofu, sliced
  • 1-cup chopped Chinese onion
  • 2-red peppers, sliced
  • 3-slices of thick bacon, chopped
  • 2-garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2-tablespoons of miso
  • 1/2-cup of kimchi
2 Servings


1. Mix miso with drips of water & stir to smooth
2. Glazed tofu with miso, both side for 15 min.
3. Cook bacon on medium heat to light brown
4. Pick up bacon pieces and set aside
5. Slowly put in glazed tofu and fry both sides
6. Pick up fried tofu & put aside
7. Put in chopped garlic, onion & stir
8. Pour in sliced red pepper, bacon pieces & stir
9. Turn heat off & put in kimchi just to warm it
10.Put one serving of rice on a plate & top with cooked tofu, onion, red peppers & kimchi
(You don't need salt or pepper. It's spicy enough)
