I wanted to create a frosting that was as close to whipped cream as possible. After researching multiple recipes online, I developed this one. Its pretty darn amazing, if I do say so myself!
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 2 cups heavy cream

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt, mixing until smooth. While mixing, gradually add the heavy cream, stopping occasionally to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl. Continue whipping until the mixture can hold stiff peaks.
