Arlene's Apple Pastry

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 c oleo
  • 1/2 t sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Filling:
  • /1 c sugar 9more if apples are sour)
  • \1 t cinnamon combine these for layer 3
  • 1 c corn flakes layer 1
  • 4-6 c apples layer 2

Directions

Mix crust ingredients. Half will be for bottom, half for top.
Roll out bottom half to put in jelly roll pan
Filling
Add layer 1
Add layer 2
Add layer 3
Cover and seal with other half of crust
Put the egg white over the top crust

Temp and time are not given. Once this is made, I'll fill it in.
