This is crack sauce for your pancakes
- .5c real maple syrup
- 1 stick cold, unsalted butter
Warm the maple syrup in a thick pan.
cube the cold butter.
Once the maple syrup is warm, start slowly add a few cubes of the butter at a time, making sure to continually whisk until all the butter is incorporated prior to adding more butter.
Keep the butter in a warm place until you're ready to serve.
