Party! Meatballs!

Party! Meatballs! by Humuhumu

Have you ever been to a party where the big hit item was not the saucy little meatballs? Okay, okay, you have, but still... you cannot deny the appeal of these little suckers. And so easy! As a host, you're not stuck doing any actual cooking, they offer a heated contrast to your sad crudité plate, and all you need for service is napkins and toothpicks, making for super-easy party cleanup. Don't think of the pre-prepared ingredients as gauche... think of them as mid-century chic. Your great aunt would be proud!

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen Trader Joe's Party Size Mini Meatballs
  • 1 jar Trader Joe's General Tsao Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 jar orange marmalade or apricot preserves
8 servings

Directions

Stir all ingredients together in a crock pot, set to high until heated, stirring a few times. Switch to warm for serving. Hands-on prep time is about 5 minutes, but give yourself a few hours to get the meatballs heated through. If you're in more of a rush, heat everything on the stovetop instead, it'll take closer to 20 minutes.

If you like them a bit less sweet, pull back on the marmalade, and maybe add a little of your favorite hot sauce.
