cucumbers & jicama spears (pepino y jicama)

This is my version of a delicious and simple side from the fantastic restaurant, Tacubaya, in Berkeley.

Ingredients

  • cucumber
  • jicama
  • lime, juiced
  • salt
  • New Mexico chile powder

Directions

Cut the cucumbers and jicama into spears roughly the same size.

Toss with lime juice, salt, and chile powder.

Serve.
