sesame miso vinaigrette

sesame miso vinaigrette by joanie

Bon Appétit adds sesame seeds to the vinaigrette, but I left it out since I like to add sesame seeds to a salad when it's time to eat. Also, I used sesame oil, not toasted sesame oil, and it was great.

This is fantastic as a dressing but also as a marinade for grilling boneless and skinless chicken breasts.

Ingredients

  • 1/2" ginger, peeled
  • 1 red Fresno chile with seeds, stemmed (optional)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 2 tbsp white miso
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
about 2/3 cup

Directions

In a small food processor, mince the ginger and chile.

Add the lime juice, oil, miso, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined.

5 minutes
