Always Perfect Corn

Always Perfect Corn by car2ngrl

I got this fail-proof cooking technique from my good friend Geof -- who in turn (I believe) got it from the Joy of Cooking. Well, whoever came up with it, it's a super easy way to perfectly cook corn on the cob.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 ears of corn -- shucked and, if desired, halved
  • enough water to cover corn in a pot

Directions

Bring water in pot to a rolling boil.

Add corn, close the lid, and turn off the heat.

Let corn sit covered for about 5 minutes*.

Remove and serve.

*I've left the corn in longer without hurting the final result.

15 minutes
