Glass of Ice Water

Glass of Ice Water by car2ngrl

I became thirsty just reading Matt's original recipe. Of course, in the process of recreating the magic, I made a few changes along the way.

Ingredients

  • Water
  • Ice
  • A glass or plastic cup

Directions

1. Grab a glass or plastic cup of you're clumsy like me.

2. Add Ice. I have an ice maker in my fridge but I guess you can also go old school with an ice tray.

3. Slowly bring the glass beneath your faucet.

4. Turn on the faucet. Pay extra attention as to which knob you are turning. Hot water defeats the purpose of adding the ice.

5. As the water line approaches the top of the glass, turn off the faucet completely. Ideally, there should be a centimeter of space between the water line and the top of the glass. You can easily use a dime to measure this distance.
