fast alfredo

No more frozen Mac n cheese. This recipe comes together as fast as you can open a box and microwave it. I prep as I cook. You can grate the cheese directly into the pan to save time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Pinot grigio
  • 1/4 c cream
  • 3 tbsp hard cheese, grated
  • Chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

In med hot pan add oil, butter, garlic and thyme. When butter and garlic begins to brown add white wine. Add cream. Turn down heat and let bubble for about 2 minutes. Toss in cooked pasta. Turn off heat. Add cheese, salt, pepper, parm and parsley.
