microwave potato chips

This is simply incredible! Just thinly slice potatoes and microwave them on a plate atop a couple paper towels. Done! No oil. No salt. And they taste great!

Ingredients

  • 1 russet potato
1 bowl

Directions

Slice the potato as thin as possible. You really must use a mandoline. Also, I leave the skin on but you can peel it if you like.

Lay a couple layers of paper towels on a microwave-safe dish. Arrange potato slices on top of the paper towels making sure the slices do not overlap. Microwave on high for 3 minutes or so. (Every microwave is different.) Transfer to a serving dish.

Repeat until you've cooked all the slices.
