I got this recipe from my Mom, a.k.a. Schmama. This is what she makes every Thanksgiving.
- 2 bags cranberries (rinsed) (no uglies)
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- grated rind of 2 oranges (avoid the pith)
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Place the ingredients in a roomy saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to medium-medium low. Boil for 4-5 minutes, until cranberries burst. Cool.
