Roasted Garlic and Cheese Bread

Here's another use for leftover bagna càuda.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bagna càuda
  • 1/2 cup shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 loaf of French bread or a half dozen French rolls
serves 4-6

Directions

Preheat broiler to low.

Put the bagna càuda in a bowl and puree with a stick blender or a traditional blender.

Split the loaf (or rolls) in half and line a baking sheet.

Spread the bagna càuda puree over the top of the bread then follow with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

Place the sheet in the broiler for about 3 minutes. Rotate sheet and continue toasting another minute or so until it reaches your desired doneness.
