Only three ingredients (four if you count the water) and two pieces of equipment (one if you want to mash the mangos by hand)...SUPER EASY and delish!
The original recipe used lime juice but I used what I had on hand...lemon juice.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups chopped mangos (about 4 mangos)
- 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
- Ice Cream Machine
Add sugar and water to a pot and boil until sugar dissolves. (Yes, this is a simple syrup so if you happen to already have a cup on hand then use that.)
In a blender, add all the ingredients then blend until smooth.
Pour into ice cream maker.
Once done, transfer to an air tight container and freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
