Lemony Spicy Kale

Lemony Spicy Kale by alchemisty

yummy, fast and easy way to prepare kale.


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 t red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 small onion, coursely chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced, seeds removed and slices quartered
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 bunch kale, tough stems and ribs removed, leaves coarsely chopped
2-3 servings


In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add red pepper, onion, lemon and honey and cook, stirring, until lemon begins to break down, about 2 minutes. Add kale and cook, stirring, until wilted, about 5 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
