This recipe was passed down to me from my mom. We're from Minnesota, so we call a casserole a "Hotdish".
The best part? After the basic ingredients are added, you can mix in any kind of "toppings' that you prefer.
- 1 bag egg noodles
- 1 can Campbells Cheddar Cheese soup
- 2 cans pizza sauce
- Any pizza ingredients you like (i.e. pepperoni, onions, peppers, sausage, etc.)
- 1 lb bag of mozzerella shredded cheese
Boil noodles, drain. If you need to brown any meats, do so. Add noodles, soup, pizza sauce and "toppings" to dutch oven. Stir. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove and stir 3/4 mozzerella into mix (be sure not to mix it to the bottom). Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted (10-15mins).
