EGG CHOPS – SCOTCH EGGS WITH POTATO by antonetroajer

Egg chops is an easy and delicious snack with boiled eggs, breadcrumbs and potato. Boiled egg covered with mashed potatoes, coated in bread crumbs and fried.

Ingredients

  • 2 no BOILED EGGS
  • 275 gms POTATO
  • 1 tsp RED CHILI POWDER
  • 1 tsp CORIANDER POWDER
  • 1 tsp SALT TABLE
  • 0.25 cup BREAD CRUMBS
  • 1 no EGG (for outer coating)
  • 0.50 cup OIL

Directions

Slice each hard-boiled eggs into a half.
Boil potatoes separately until tender and mash to a smooth texture. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and mix well.
Beat the egg separately in a small bowl and keep it ready. Spread the bread crumbs on a plate.
Cover the sliced boiled eggs with mashed potato mixture evenly. Dip in the beaten egg and roll in the breadcrumbs until the breadcrumbs get coated evenly.
Shallow fry or deep fry the eggs chops until the color changes to golden brown.
