Grilled Jalapeno Chicken Breasts

Finally purchased a new grill and this was what we cooked to break it in. It's all about the marinade of course.

Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 4 jalapenos, sliced including seeds
  • 1 bunch of green onions chopped
  • dry spices: cumin, onion powder, chili powder, thyme, oregano, allspice, sea salt, black pepper, dill, caraway
  • 1 tsp honey
  • olive oil

Directions

Place chicken in freezer bag, pour in all marinade ingredients and roll around to coat evenly. Let sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Pull out chicken, and shake off as much marinade as you can. Grill on high heat til done! This chicken is amazing on tortillas with onion and a little salsa or pico de gallo.
